London Fashion Week is officially here and it kicked off with Florence Pugh opening the Harris Reed show on Feb. 20.

Videos of the Oscar-nominated star immediately began circulating online after she made a surprise appearance at the Fall/Winter 2025 presentation wearing a sheer hooded dress complete with a sculptural corset. She also wore a bold makeup look complete with long spidery fake eyelashes while rocking a slicked-back short blonde hairstyle.

Pugh, 29, didn't strut down the runway but rather walked around the audience while performing a powerful monologue against a soundtrack of live cellists, per Vogue.

As the We Live in Time actress emoted her script, her words echoed through the high-ceilinged Duveen Galleries of London's Tate Britain art gallery, providing a chilling ambience to the entire affair. That is, after all, how designer Harris Reed intended it to be.

"I feel like there’s a bit more of an eerie, uncomfortable nature to her [character],” the creative director told Vogue. “I want everyone to be very uncomfortable,” Reed continued, adding, “I think through uncomfortability, you look deeper within and question a lot about yourself and your surroundings.”

The first time Pugh took part in a short of Reed's was in February 2023. She wore a dazzling black and silver harlequin dress with a matching wide-brim hat.

Pugh and Reed are close friends and collaborators and the two attended the 2023 Elle Style Awards together. She also glammed up in one his Reed's designs for the 2024 BAFTA Awards.

Over the years, Pugh's appearances at Fashion Week have been few and far in between. However, for all the shows she has been to, she's definitely made a fashionable impact.

Her most notable moment was when she wore a nipple-baring pink gown to the Valentino Fall/Winter 2022 Haute Couture show. The daring look caused quite the stir online, which Pugh was not afraid to address.

"Listen, I knew when I wore that incredible Valentino dress that there was no way there wouldn’t be a commentary on it. Whether it be negative or positive, we all knew what we were doing," she wrote on Instagram. She also condemened the "vulgar" comments she'd received after wearing the outfit.

She doubled down on her commentary in an August 2023 interview with Jodie Turner-Smith for Elle, saying: “Unfortunately, we’ve become so terrified of the human body that we can’t even look at my two little cute nipples behind fabric in a way that isn’t sexual. We need to keep reminding everybody that there is more than one reason for women’s bodies [to exist].”

A month prior, she wore another sheer number to Valentino's show in Paris, taking the moment to also debut a edgy pink buzz cut.
